Guiding You in Faith and Worship
Pastor
Dee Ford
In April 2023, Crosscreek Baptist Church called Rev. Dee Ford to serve as Senior Pastor. Dee comes to Crosscreek from within Crosscreek itself. Beginning in 2011, Dee served for almost 5 years at Crosscreek, first as Minister of Children and Youth and then as Minister of Worship and Families. After some time away, during which she worked as a public-school music teacher, a children’s pastor at Grace, a United Methodist Congregation in Birmingham, and then as pastor of Faith Fellowship of York County in Pennsylvania, Dee returned to Crosscreek in 2021 to serve as Associate Pastor.
Dee grew up in Alabama, mostly in Gadsden and Boaz. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL, and a Master of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta, GA. In her spare time you might find Dee running, reading, or chaperoning high school band trips.
Dee loves congregational ministry and is delighted to be part of a faith community committed to doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God.
