Pet Food Drive for Neighbors in Need!

Throughout the month of May, we will be collecting pet food for the Alabama Pet Pantry, led by one of  Crosscreek’s neighbors, Sheila Montgomery. Once a month, the Alabama Pet Pantry distributes food to our neighbors in need from the Crosscreek parking lot, and our own Noel and Jacob Franklin volunteer to help! Here is information about the Alabama Pet Pantry from their website (alabamapetpantry.com):

Alabama Pet Pantry is dedicated to ensuring that no pet goes hungry in Jefferson and Shelby Counties.Through our community-driven efforts, we provide vital food support for dogs and cats in times of need. Our mission is rooted in compassion and the belief that every pet deserves a full belly and a wagging tail.

Since its inception in 2019, the Alabama Pet Pantry has distributed over 120,000 pounds of dry pet food and more than 30,000 cans of wet food. It has become a vital resource for families in need within our communities.

The Alabama Pet Pantry relies on pet food donations, which is where we can help! Please bring dry or wet dog or cat food to the church foyer during the month of May. They particularly need 30-pound bags, but any size and type of food will do. Thank you!

The event is finished.
