
Ronnie Brewer
Interim Pastor
Ronnie Brewer comes to Crosscreek after retiring in Birmingham from a career as a campus minister and a pastor. In retirement he is connected with the Center of Healthy Churches and is enjoying the opportunity to help churches in pastoral transitions. Ronnie and his wife, Janet, are graduates of The University of Montevallo and Southern Seminary in Louisville. They have two children and two grandsons.

Dixie Bearden Ford
Associate Pastor
Although Dixie began her ministry with Crosscreek as Associate Pastor in August 2021, she is no stranger. She served here as Minister of Worship & Families from 2011 to 2015. Dixie’s previous ministry position was as Pastor of Faith Fellowship of York County, Penn. She is married to Scott Ford, and their children are Allie, Amber, Thomas and Anna.

Rowdy Giles
Interim Minister of Music
Rowdy Giles was born and raised in Hoover, AL and has been an active Baptist in the Birmingham area his whole life. After a brief collegiate experience at The University of Alabama and acquiring an undergraduate and Master’s in Music Performance, Rowdy returned to teach private music lessons in and around Hoover before being called to offer musical guidance at Crosscreek Baptist Church.
