On this Monday after Easter, may we pause and breathe in the beauty of the empty tomb!
On this Monday after Easter, may we pause and breathe in the beauty of the empty tomb!
Holy Saturday is a day about stillness, about breathing, about being honest with our discomfort and yet holding out hope.
I hope this original song helps you get in a place of stillness, honesty, and hope today.
It’s based on this poem, “Pandemic,” by Rev. Jen Wagley (see below). Thanks for her beautiful words and blessing in using it in this way.
Pandemic
The grey in my hair lengthens
With this time, a time of pandemic.
Perhaps the grey will stay
Long after this time—
A reminder of when my world,
Our world paused—
And days became long
And worries became deep
And prayer became breath
And breath became precious
And technology became hope
And hope became global
And global became one
And one invited us
Into being….

Today’s Crosscreek Connection is a walkthrough of the Way of the Cross. The slides, readings, and music here will help guide us through the last moment’s of Jesus’ journey to the cross. Here, we will remember that before the tomb was empty, the cross was filled by Love.
Join us for a Maundy Thursday reflection as we remember the love of Jesus who wanted to serve all. May we find ourselves washed in the water once again.
May we find ourselves centered and at peace this Monday morning. May we remember to breathe in and breathe out. Be blessed by this poetry reading and video from Jessica.
Here’s today’s Crosscreek Connection, a Lectio Divina experience with scriptures from the 14th Chapter of Mark. Use this practice to prepare your heart for Sunday’s worship.
